I was watching this interesting segment on WGN News about a photographer named Carlos Javier Ortiz. Ortiz is the author of 'We All We Got.' A book that documents the south and west side of Chicago from the past 8 years. The images Ortiz captures truly inspired me to continue my goal towards bringing a little joy to my city. I love my city and will strive to heal the land. The people are hurt and in need of compassion, comfort and love. We can no longer continue to ignore the pink elephant in the room. We need to go save our youth! They are dying and crying out for help. They don't know the way. They have so many questions and we are too busy entertaining our own lives. It's time to take this city back! Time to take a stand and get our babies back from the claws of our city they call 'stinky land.'. Ortiz book really speaks to the heart and it's time we listen and pay attention and do our part. Before it's to late. This system is evil and not meant for we the people so we got do, what we got to do, cause in the end, WE ALL WE GOT! #LyricalGenius Stay THRIFTY...
