You'd be surprise at what a little make-up can do! I see so many women dressed-up on a night out on the town but their face is unpolished. Make-up is not for "the ugly", so to speak. It's a polisher. Think about it if your shirt is wrinkle you don't just wear it as is because it's clean. You have to iron it to get the best look. Same with your face darlings, same with the face. No, you don't have to wear tons and tons of goop. But a good moisturizering tint, mascara and blush can go a long way. DON'T NEGLECT THE FACE! Don't be afraid of make-up. The best part is, if you mess up you can always wash it off. First, make sure your face and neck are clean. I was Oil of Olay face cleaning products. I have used Oil of Olay for years because I'm still satisfied with the results. Once your face and neck are cleaned, Moisturize, Moisturize, Moisturize! I really like Nubian Heritage Raw Shea Butter Lotion. I even use this lotion in my hair. I actually found this product in the hair care aisle at Wal-mart. Next, you want to apply a small amount of tinted moisturizer. This will give your face a smooth, clean look. Then for me I have terrible dark circles under my eyes so I use a concealer stick for cover up. I normally use my concealer brush to smooth and blend but it fell down the sink. So until I get a new one I'm using my foundation brush to smooth and blend. Finally, I fill in my eyebrows and use my dry foundation brush to powder my face with powder foundation. To give a complete look I dust blush on my cheekbones. Now I'm ready for the world with my clean and polished look! Disclaimer: Remember I am not a cosmetologist. These are just a few tricks and tips that work for me. Don't be a victim of an unpolished look, dolls! Be EXPRESSIVE!
